Colin Cowherd Says Joe Burrow Will Never Become a Top 10 NFL Quarterback

College Football Playoff National Championship - Clemson v LSU
Joy Taylor: “Would you rather have Joe Burrow or Daniel Jones?”
Colin Cowherd: “Daniel Jones. I Whiffed on him. I watched him in college and didn’t think he was special and I watched him in the NFL and I’m like ‘he’s special.’ He’s a really good athlete and they’re actually very similar. If this coach can coach, I think they’re ready to pop.”
Joy: “Would you rather have Joe Burrow or Matt Ryan?”
Colin: “Well, do I ever think Joe Burrow will become a top 10 quarterback in the league? No, I don’t.”
Joy: “Never??”
Colin: No, I think he’s gonna be a good player, I don’t think he’s a top 10 quarterback, and I think Matt Ryan IS a top 10 quarterback so I’d take Ryan. Top 10 quarterback is hard, look at all the great players, who is moving out??”
Joy: “He just had the best statistical season ever!”
Colin: “Baker Mayfield won the Heisman…” (Audio Below, Full Video Segment at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Colin Cowherd partake in a segment called ‘Joe Versus ____” in which Joy Taylor offers up quarterback names and Colin picks whether he would rather have Joe Burrow or the player that Joy mentions for the next decade.

Some of the most notable and most controversial names that Colin picked over Burrow was with Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Rams quarterback Jared Goff, Falcons veteran Matt Ryan, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

Check out the audio below as Colin is more lukewarm on Burrow’s NFL stock than a lot of other people in the mainstream media are, as Colin doesn’t think Burrow will ever become a top 10 NFL quarterback.
