UCL Picks: Take PSG To Continue Unbeaten Run Against Benfica

Paris Saint-Germain put together the best start of any club in Europe's big five leagues.

PSG's fast start will be challenged on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League by a road trip to Portugal to face Benfica.

Kylian Mbappe and Co. can grab full control of Group H with a win and it can further establish itself as one of the top contenders to claim the UCL crown.

PSG will be at the center of Wednesday's late afternoon action, but before that, there is a game with two underrated contenders to advance to the knockout round that could be the most exciting match of the eight-game slate.

Wednesday UCL Picks

Overall Record: 37-37 (13-12 UCL)

RB Salzburg vs. Dinamo Zagreb (12:45 p.m. ET)

Both Teams To Score (-130)

Over 2.5 Goals (-120)

Noah Okafor To Score (+170)

Mislav Orsic To Score (+330)

RB Salzburg has not played many boring matches in the UCL over the last two years.

Salzburg held one clean sheet in eight matches last season and it has played to a pair of 1-1 draws to kick off the group stage this season.

Dinamo Zagreb conceded 10 times in eight continental matches this season. The Croatian side had to get through three qualifying rounds to reach the group stage.

The two sides have a wealth of experience on the continental stage from the last two seasons. Zagreb made it to the knockout round of the UEFA Europa League last season.

Zagreb's Mislav Orsic has been one of the most consistent scorers in Europe you do not know about. Orsic scored in each of Zagreb's first two group stage games. He had three goals in the qualifying rounds. Orsic scored four times in the Europa League last season, with two of them coming against Sevilla in the round of 16.

Noah Okafor is Salzburg's top scorer with seven goals. He produced six of those tallies in his last seven games across all competitions. He also has a goal in each UCL group stage contest and he should be on the end of a few chances on Wednesday.

Benfica vs. PSG (-125) (3 p.m. ET)

Kylian Mbappe To Score (+100)

Paris Saint-Germain has not lost all season.

In fact, PSG has only dropped points once in a 1-1 draw with Monaco.

Two of those victories came against Juventus and Maccabi Haifa to land on top of Group H. The Parisians can build a three-point lead in the group against Benfica.

Benfica will be a tough foe, but PSG has Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Lionel Messi.

Mbappe and Neymar each have eight goals this season, but Mbappe has more in the UCL. Mbappe has three goals compared to Neymar's one.

Mbappe should get on the end of most of PSG's chances and I can't refuse him at a plus-money goal scorer prop.
