MLB Player Props: Jose Ramirez, Starling Marte, Marcus Semien, More

One of the best hitters in Major League Baseball visits a hitters' paradise over the next few days.

Jose Ramirez and the Cleveland Guardians visit the Colorado Rockies inside Coors Field in what has the potential to be a high-scoring series for the American League Central ball club.

Ramirez is second in the majors in OPS and his splits on the road are slightly better than they are inside Progressive Field.

There is no need to overcomplicate the thinking for Tuesday's MLB slate because Ramirez and the Guardians face an ideal matchup against Antonio Senzatela.

A handful of other players are worth targeting, but the Guardians are my main focus when it comes to player props.

Tuesday MLB Player Props

Jose Ramirez Over 1.5 Total Bases (-150)

Home Run (+310)

There are few instances in which I will bet a total bases prop with a number as high as -150.

It is worth paying up for Jose Ramirez hitting inside Coors Field after a day off.

Ramirez produced multiple total bases in five straight games and he has more doubles and home runs away from home. The third baseman has a 1.098 OPS with nine doubles and 11 dingers away from Cleveland.

He is also hitting right-handed pitching better. Thirteen of his 16 long balls have come against righties and he has a 1.131 OPS against them.

Ramirez is worth the home run bet as well because of where he is playing and his pitching matchup. Antonio Senzatela conceded 13 hits in his last home start against the Miami Marlins.

Senzatela allowed 19 hits in his last 11.1 innings of work and he could be in for a tough night versus the Guardians.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Over 1.5 Total Bases (+135)

I'm going back to Lourdes Gurriel Jr. for the second straight night.

Gurriel is 10-for-20 over the last seven days. He leads the Toronto Blue Jays in hits during that span.

Gurriel has multiple hits in each of his last four games and he went 3-for-4 against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night.

Toronto should produce plenty more hits on Tuesday against Jordan Lyles, who allowed 17 hits over 10 innings to start June.

Lyles is one of three pitchers to concede over 80 hits this season. Patrick Corbin and German Marquez are the others.

The entire Blue Jays lineup should be a total bases target on Tuesday, but Gurriel carries the best number when looking at his form over the last week.

Marcus Semien Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110)

Just like Gurriel, Marcus Semien went 3-for-4 on Monday night.

Also like Gurriel, the Texas Rangers second baseman faces a pitcher with one of the highest hit concessions in the majors. Jose Urquidy allowed the fourth-most hits in the majors this season.

Urquidy was rocked for 12 hits on two separate occasions in May and he gave up six hits over 6.2 innings of work against Texas on May 22.

Semien owns a .385 career batting average against the Houston right-hander and he should take advantage of Urquidy's susceptibility to giving up high hit totals.

Starling Marte Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)

Starling Marte and the New York Mets are back home to start a series against the Milwaukee Brewers and one of their more hittable pitchers.

Adrian Houser has a 5.32 road ERA. He conceded 14 earned runs on 27 hits in those contests. He gave up 18 hits during his three road starts last month.

Marte recorded multiple total bases in four of his last five games and he has the most hits of any Mets player inside Citi Field with 29. Eleven of those hits have been doubles, triples or home runs.
