MLB Props: Marcus Semien, Salvador Perez, Austin Hays, Joey Votto

Marcus Semien has finally found his hitting stroke at the top of the Texas Rangers lineup.

The offseason signing struggled throughout April and May, but once the calendar flipped to June, the offense appeared for the infielder.

Semien owns a 1.132 OPS in June and he is tied with Garrett Cooper of the Miami Marlins for the most hits in the last seven days in Major League Baseball with 11.

Semien and the Rangers could have a successful weekend against the Chicago White Sox, who are dealing with a ton of injuries right now.

Texas should take advantage of its matchup against Davis Martin and starts with Semien at the top of the order with an even-money total bases prop.

Friday MLB Props

Marcus Semien Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)

Let's not overcomplicate things on a massive 15-game slate.

Marcus Semien is one of the hottest hitters in baseball at the moment and he has been much better on the road than inside Globe Life Park.

Semien enters Chicago on a five-game hitting streak with multiple total bases in three of those five contests.

Texas gets a look at Davis Martin, who gave up five hits in each of his first two appearances with the White Sox.

Semien has done most of his damage on the road, where he has an .834 OPS, four home runs and 17 RBI.

He sits in a good position to extend his good run of form on Friday and throughout the weekend series in the Windy City.

Salvador Perez Over 1.5 Total Bases (-115)

The Baltimore-Kansas City matchup may be the best one on the 15-game slate for total bases props.

Orioles southpaw Bruce Zimmerman is tied for 10th in most hits allowed in the majors. Royals starter Jonathan Heasley conceded 13 hits in his last two appearances.

The Royals saw Zimmerman once already this season on May 8 and that could help with the timing in the opening at-bats on Friday.

Salvador Perez is tied with Andrew Benintendi for the most hits against left-handed pitching on the Kansas City roster. Perez is in better form at the plate right now, so I'm riding with him.

Perez hit safely in five of the last seven games, all of which have been inside Kauffman Stadium. He had three multi-hit games in that stretch.

The Royals catcher could also be considered for a home run prop at +28- because Zimmerman allowed 12 long balls in May.

Austin Hays Over 1.5 Total Bases (-110)

Now to the other side of the Orioles-Royals matchup.

Austin Hays has 47 hits against right-handed pitching, which is the highest total on the Baltimore roster.

Hays recorded two or more total bases in four of his seven June games. He hit that mark in each of his last two trips to the diamond.

Hays is the hot bat in the Baltimore lineup and he could be worth a same game parlay alongside Perez to increase the value from that game.

Joey Votto Over 1.5 Total Bases (+120)

Joey Votto hit the over on his total bases prop in each of the last five games.

Votto had three doubles and a home run in that stretch inside Great American Ball Park.

The Cincinnati Reds are away from their home park on Friday night, but St. Louis might as well feel like a second home for Votto.

The Reds first baseman owns a .303 career batting average against the Cardinals and he has a .294 batting average and .906 OPS in St. Louis for his career.
