MLB Props: Francisco Lindor, Kyle Lewis, Manny Machado

Very rarely in Major League Baseball do you have a batter-versus-pitcher that is as pronounced as the one in Francisco Lindor's favor on Wednesday.

Lindor owns a .500 batting average in 36 at-bats in his career against Jakob Junis. The majority of those plate appearances came while the two played in the American League Central against each other.

A previous history can only take us so far in research. Lindor ticks off a handful of other boxes that I look for when it comes to total bases props

Lindor is swinging a hot bat at the moment and his total bases prop sits at plus money on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Wednesday MLB Props

Overall Record: 11-13

Francisco Lindor Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

Francisco Lindor not only has a .500 batting average against Jakob Junis, he has five home runs and 14 RBI in his career against the right-handed pitcher.

Lindor did most of his damage against Junis during the 2018 and 2019 seasons when he was a key piece of the Cleveland lineup.

The shortstop was 9-for-16 against Junis in 2019 and 6-for-12 in 2018.

Lindor comes into Wednesday with multiple total bases in each of his last three games.

Junis conceded 16 hits in 16.2 innings of work in May and he is coming off his highest hit concession. San Diego got seven hits off the right-handed hurler five days ago.

Kyle Lewis Over 0.5 Total Bases (-165)

I think I'm getting a decent price on Kyle Lewis before the prop goes to its regular 1.5 total bases.

Lewis went 2-for-4 in his season debut last night for the Seattle Mariners and he is back in the lineup again on Wednesday.

Lewis and the Mariners are facing Paul Blackburn, who has a 1.91 ERA, but he has allowed 21 hits in 22.1 innings of work in May. That is an increase from 14 hits conceded in 20 innings in April.

The Seattle outfielder should also have some RBI opportunities on Wednesday with Julio Rodriguez, Eugenio Suarez and J.P. Crawford hitting in front of him.

Manny Machado Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)

Manny Machado leads the majors in hits over the last seven days with 13.

Machado is also second in the league in doubles with four during that stretch.

The San Diego third baseman owns a 1.400 OPS in limited action against left-handed pitching this season. Southpaw Aaron Ashby starts for the Milwaukee Brewers.

Machado also owns a 1.170 OPS and .412 batting average inside Petco Park in 2022.
