There are only four players on the Philadelphia 76ers roster that you can trust for player props in the postseason.
Joel Embiid, James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris will receive a majority of the shot-taking opportunities throughout the series with the Toronto Raptors.
Each member of the quartet played over 35 minutes and had at least 19 points in Saturday's Game 1 win inside the Wells Fargo Center.
Maxey's 38-point explosion boosted his point prop up a few points, but Harris' did not move despite a 26-point game.
That is where I'm starting with the picks for Monday's three NBA games. Harris should get to 16 points against a Toronto defense that is weakened due to the Scottie Barnes' injury.
Barnes is listed as out for Game 2 and that opens up more scoring for OG Anunoby, who needs to be in the 20-point range to complement Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam for the Raptors to be competitive.
NBA Playoff Prop Picks
Overall Record: 7-8
Tobias Harris Over 15.5 Points (-115)
Tobias Harris quietly scored 26 points in Game 1 while Maxey stole the spotlight.
Harris attempted 14 field goals and he was 3-for-5 from the three-point line. He also chipped in six assists and six rebounds.
Harris has 16 or more points in 12 of his last 13 playoff games in a Sixers uniform. The lone exception is a four-point performance from Game 5 against Atlanta last season.
He should have at least 10 field-goal attempts again, especially if Danny Green can't hit the broad side of a barn from three. Harris' improved three-point shot will also help with the point prop going over.
OG Anunoby Over 16.5 Points (-120)
OG Anunoby scored 20 points in Game 1 and he will play a larger role on offense with Scottie Barnes off the floor.
Toronto needs Anunoby, Fred VanVleet and Pascal Siakam to combine for 75-80 points to have a chance of pulling off a road win in Philadelphia.
Anunoby attempted the second-most field goals behind Siakam in Game 1 and he knocked down a pair of three-point shots to aid that total.
Sixers-Raptors Same Game Parlay (+475)
Tobias Harris 16+ points
OG Anunoby 16+ points
James Harden 10+ assists
Joel Embiid 12+ rebounds
All of these props hit in Game 1.
Embiid recorded 15 rebounds and Harden produced 14 assists to aid the outbursts out of Maxey and Harris.
If Game 2 plays out in a similar fashion as Game 1, all of these props should either come close to hitting, or hit without a massive sweat.
The only factor that kills this Same Game Parlay is a blowout of 25 or more points, but the Sixers may not be able to hold that with their reserve centers on the floor.
Dorian Finney-Smith Over 13.5 Points (+100)
As expected, the Bojan Bogdanovic points prop that I had success with on Saturday boosted two points because of his 20-point first-half outburst.
I'm shifting my Utah-Dallas prop focus to Dorian Finney-Smith, who needs to be in double figures to support Jalen Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie with Luka Doncic still sidelined.
Finney-Smith scored 14 points in Game 1 thanks to a pair of three-point shots and a perfect 4-for-4 afternoon at the free-throw line.
Steph Curry Over 3.5 Threes (+140)
I'm willing to take the bait on Steph Curry props.
Curry went 5-for-13 from the field and 3-for-6 from three-point range in Golden State's Game 1 win over Denver.
Curry posted those shooting numbers in 21 minutes of action off the bench. He could knock down four threes on Monday, even if his minutes restriction remains the same.
Golden State gave him the green light to get back into his shooting rhythm in Game 1 and I think we see a similar output from the Warriors star in Game 2.
