NBA 3-Point Play: Bam Adebayo, Devonte' Graham, Jalen Green

The Friday night NBA slate is marred by bad matchups and injury absences.

A handful of injuries stand out right away in how we can approach the player prop market.

The Miami Heat have a clear edge in the paint against the Cleveland Cavaliers with Jarrett Allen out.

The New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets have scoring opening caused by injuries that could allow a few scorers to soar above their season averages.

NBA 3-Point Play

Overall Record: 55-61

Bam Adebayo Over 18.5 Points

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be at a disadvantage guarding Bam Adebayo in Miami.

The Cavs gave up 27 points to Indiana's two main paint players on Tuesday. They also let up over 20 points to Pascal Siakam and Chris Boucher on Sunday in the game in which Allen was hurt.

Adebayo should feast on Cleveland's weakness in the paint. He is averaging 18.8 points per game and he has been lurking around the 18-point mark for most of the month.

Devonte Graham Over 15.5 Points

Devonte Graham will be tasked with replacing the scoring production of Brandon Ingram and C.J. McCollum, both of whom are out for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Graham has taken a back seat to both players since the McCollum trade from Portland, but Friday appears to be his time to step up.

Oh by the way, Graham is facing his former team, the Charlotte Hornets, who give up the eighth-best three-point percentage to opponents.

The matchup should play right into Graham's strengths.

Jalen Green Over 17.5 Points

Jalen Green has been on fire in March.

The rookie guard for the Houston Rockets is averaging 23.5 points per game over six appearances in March.

Green should have ample opportunities to score on Friday night with Christian Wood downgraded to doubtful.

The first-year player has been on fire from three-point range lately. He knocked down four triples in three March games.
