NBA 3-Point Play: Zach LaVine, Devin Vassell, Jarrett Allen

Friday's clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls should be a gold mine for player props.

The over/under is set at 241 (!!!!!) for the clash at the United Center.

We all know that most of Chicago's offensive production will go to Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevie. LaVine gets singled out tonight because he has had success against his former team.

Some of Minnesota's players were not listed on the prop board at the time of posting, so I went with the best option in LaVine.

A handful of games on the schedule are either projected to be blowouts, or have unknowns from the trades over the last week.

Two things we do know is San Antonio will need someone to step up in Derrick White's absence and that Indiana is still depleted down low. Both of those factors come into our favor for the 3-Point Play.

NBA 3-Point Play

Overall Record: 44-46

Zach LaVine Over 25.5 Points

Minnesota-Chicago should be the highest scoring game on the slate.

Minnesota gave up over 110 points in four of its last five games and it is going up against Chicago's dynamic scoring trio of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and Nikola Vucevic.

LaVine averaged 28.9 points per game in seven contests against the Wolves since he was traded away in 2017.

LaVine has 26 or more points in three of his four February games and he is coming off a 27-point performance with five made threes against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday.

The Bulls are going to score at a high rate on Friday and LaVine should easily get close to the 30-point mark.

Devin Vassell Over 13.5 Points

I've been fading Atlanta's poor defense against shooting guards at every instance recently.

Chris Duarte and Lance Stephenson combined to put up 49 points for the Indiana Pacers against the Hawks on Tuesday, despite the Pacers being depleted all over the court.

San Antonio comes into Friday needing to split up Derrick White's shooting production. Devin Vassell scored 18 points in 28 minutes in White's final game with the team

Vassell received over 30 minutes of playing time in three of the last seven games. His lowest minute total in that span was 23 minutes.

Vassell should take over some of the vacant shots in the Spurs lineup without White. Look for the Spurs to give him more opportunities as the season goes on as they try to develop him alongside Dejounte Murray and Keldon Johnson.

Jarrett Allen Over 11.5 Rebounds

Jarrett Allen recorded 22, 17 and 14 rebounds in his last three appearances.

Allen pulled down 17 boards on Sunday against the Indiana Pacers with Domantas Sabonis in the lineup.

Indiana's frontcourt is in shambles until Myles Turner returns to the floor, and it has been killed on the glass during its four-game losing streak.

Clint Capela had 12 rebounds on Wednesday, Vucevic killed them for 17 boards and Wendell Carter produced a 19-18 double-double in the other games of that losing run.
