NBA 3-Point Play: Dejounte Murray, Lu Dort, Reggie Bullock

Sometimes you just have to play the hits.

That's my mindset with the NBA 3-Point Play for Friday's slate.

Dejounte Murray's assist prop has been very profitable to me and he gets to play the Houston Rockets, who he well against twice in January, on Friday night.

Lu Dort gets his second shot at the Portland Trail Blazers this week and he should play in a much different matchup because of the Blazers' depleted depth chart.

The third play is more out-of-the-box, but it makes sense on usage rate. Reggie Bullock has flown over his points prop in the last week and he should have a chance to do so in the lone national television game of the night.

Friday NBA 3-Point Play

Overall Record: 33-39

Dejounte Murray Over 9.5 Assists

This one is easy.

Dejounte Murray has a 32-point triple-double and a 19-point, 10-assist performance against the Houston Rockets this season.

Both of those matchups occurred in January, so it is a recent sample size for us to work off of.

Murray was one assist shy of extending his 10-assist streak to seven games in his last trip to the hardwood on Tuesday versus Golden State.

There's a good chance Murray gets back to that point against the worst scoring defense in the NBA.

Lu Dort Over 2.5 Threes

I'm going back to a matchup I handicapped on Monday.

Lu Dort gets his second shot at Portland's league-worst three-point defense this week. He does so on Friday against a depleted Portland roster after Norman Powell and Robert Covington were shipped to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday afternoon.

Dort attempted 27 three-point shots in his last three games and he will face a weakened Portland defense. The Blazers held their last two opponents under 100 points, but I do not foresee that happening with a handful of starters out of the contest.

Reggie Bullock Over 10.5 Points

Reggie Bullock is averaging 17.8 points per game over the last four contests.

Bullock's uptick in production coincides with Tim Hardaway Jr.'s long-term injury.

Bullock attempted at least seven three-point shots during that span and he could be vital off the bench for Dallas in its clash with the 76ers

If he continues to score at a decent rate, Bullock's prop totals will go up, so this feels like a solid play with his current usage rate.
