NBA 3-Point Play: Dejounte Murray, Caris LeVert, Jimmy Butler

When you find a player prop, or bet, that you like, you have to stick with it until the trend dies out.

That is me with Dejounte Murray assist props.

The San Antonio Spurs point guard was the only player whose assist prop hit in this space on Tuesday night and he should have a very active night in the backcourt on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Murray has four straight double-digit assist games and I was able to get his prop at 8.5 assists, so that is where the 3-Point Play begins.

NBA 3-Point Play

Overall Record: 28-29

Dejounte Murray Over 8.5 Assists

The back-to-back spot for Dejounte Murray and the San Antonio Spurs does not bother me one bit.

Murray picked up 10 assists in a three-quarter effort on Tuesday versus the Houston Rockets. The San Antonio backups played most of the fourth quarter.

Murray should be fresh for his clash against Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, who give up the ninth-most assists per game in the NBA.

Murray should once again be the focal point of the San Antonio offense and he should get close to 10 handouts for the fifth straight game.

I even have a little wiggle room with the prop being at 8.5 tonight, so nine assists is good enough for a cash.

Caris LeVert Over 5.5 Rebounds

Caris LeVert will be asked to do a bit of everything for the depleted Indiana Pacers against the Charlotte Hornets.

The Pacers need someone to rebound the ball with Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner out again. LeVert has six or more rebounds in his last three games.

Charlotte gives up the third most rebounds per game and it could have some tired shooting legs within the squad after suffering a 12-point loss in Toronto on Tuesday.

You could probably play LeVert in a variety of ways in this game, but his rebound prop is at plus-money and it hit the last three games, so that gives me the most comfort.

Jimmy Butler Over 7.5 Assists

Jimmy Butler is averaging 7.5 assists per game in January.

Butler has 20 assists over the last two games while Kyle Lowry has been out. Lowry is once again out for personal reasons on Wednesday.

Butler will be involved in most Miami Heat field-goal attempts as either a shooter or distributor. That gives me comfort in him having eight handouts against the New York Knicks.

I considered 3-Point Play favorites Darius Garland and Jalen Suggs on assist props as well, but Butler's number felt just right.
