NBA 3-Point Play: Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal, Dejounte Murray

Anthony Davis' return is a welcome sight for everyone in the Los Angeles Lakers organization.

Russell Westbrook is the player that should benefit most from Davis' return to the hardwood. Davis is listed as probable for Tuesday's clash with the Brooklyn Nets. Davis has not played since December 17.

Westbrook has gone through a well-known list of offensive issues. His assists per game total dropped from 8.1 in December to 5.7 in January.

Westbrook has a single double-digit assist game in January and his five highest assist totals of the season came with Davis in the lineup.

The Lakers point guard's assist prop sits at 7.5 for Tuesday's trip to Brooklyn and it is more than reachable with Davis back and Brooklyn missing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.

NBA 3-Point Play

Overall Record: 28-29 (1-2 Monday)

Russell Westbrook Over 7.5 Assists (-105)

Russell Westbrook's assist prop is only going to get higher with every game Davis in back in the lineup.

Westbrook turned in nine of his 14 double-digit assist performances with Davis on the floor before his month-long injury layoff.

Westbrook put together a run of four straight double-digit assist games at the end of December, but he has not been nearly that consistent in January.

The Lakers should feed Davis early and often against an average Brooklyn frontcourt that the big man can take advantage of.

Extra focus on Davis, LeBron James' regular high shooting volume and a favorable matchup for driving into the lane without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant open the possibility for a plethora of Westbrook assists

You can call me a genius if this is spot on and an idiot if Westbrook just keeps struggling, but I'm willing to take the risk here.

Bradley Beal Over 6.5 Assists (-105)

I'm betting the over on Bradley Beal's assist prop until it moves up.

The Washington Wizards guard is averaging 8.1 assists per game in January and he had seven or more handouts in four of his last five games.

Beal has had at least six assists in eight of his last nine games since the start of the new year.

Beal will hover around this number for most of the second half, and he should go over it as long as the Wizards play a tight contest with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Dejounte Murray Over 9.5 Assists (+100)

Dejounte Murray has three straight games with double-digit assists.

He had 11 handouts in his last meeting with the Houston Rockets on January 12, a game the San Antonio Spurs lost by four points.

Murray has 10 or more assists in six of his 11 January games and he had two other games with nine helpers.

Murray has been an assist machine this month and he could thrive on Tuesday against a lackluster Houston defense.
