The Philadelphia 76ers had a battle of first place teams against the Western Conference leading Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night, as they came out on top 107-106. Philadelphia led most of the game, including a double digit lead in the remaining minutes of the game, before a 13-0 run from LA to give them a one point lead with just over 10 seconds left in the game. The 13-0 run was sparked thanks to 3-pt shots from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Dennis Schroder, and Alex Caruso. On the Sixers final possession, they turned to Tobias Harris who made a tough jump shot to secure the one point victory.
On the bright side of things, Philadelphia got their big money player to win a huge game for them, but should we be concerned about their collapse down the stretch? I think it is safe to say they would have lost this game with Brett Brown as the head coach, but even with Doc Rivers leading the way we are seeing some old tendencies come into play.
