Mark Drumheller (@x_drumheller): NFL picks for Week 8.

San Francisco +3 over Seattle. Russell Wilson and the Seattle offense gets all the attention but Kyle Shanahan is going to carve up this Seahawks defense like Jack O' Lantern. The 49ers defense has been excellent (7th in the NFL) on 3rd downs, an area where Seattle has struggled (31st in the NFL). Both offenses will light it up, but it will be the 49ers that make a few key stops and cash.

Green Bay -6.5 over Minnesota. The Packers are the much better team and that was evidenced by the 31 different times they moved the chains on Zimmer's defense in Week 1. Green Bay should still have success rushing without Aaron Jones against Minnesota's defense who ranks 26th in defensive adjusted line yards. That opens things up with Rodgers who is used to the windy conditions at Lambeau, while Cousins will struggle away from the controlled climate he has grown accustomed to. When Green Bay has been able to score this season, they cover as their 5-1 record ATS implies. Don't let the wind fool you. Back the Pack.

Detroit +3 over Indianapolis. The Cardiac Cats are 2nd in the NFL in first quarter points and the Colts defense has been cooked two straight weeks for a combined 62 points by the Bengals and Browns. I am not sure the Colts can take advantage of Detroit's poor rush defense with a running game that is ranked 26th in success rate. As the Lions pull ahead early, Philip Rivers will turn the ball over looking to bring them back. The Lions make a statement and come away with the win. Take the points but play the money line as well.

Cincinnati +7 over Tennessee. The Titans are only 2-4 to the number because their defense isn't good enough to close the backdoor. Enter Joe Burrow and a Bengals team that has covered 5 of it's last 6 games. Burrow put points on the board against the Colts and Browns the last two weeks, and the Titans defense is 32nd on 3rd downs. That's a perfect recipe for extended drives and a backdoor cover. Sign me up for Cincy.

New England +4 over Buffalo. Neither team scored a TD last week but the Bills were held down by the Jets defense and strangely everyone is asking what’s wrong with the Pats. Buffalo can't stop the run, and New England is looking to grind out an ugly game. The Patriots have demonstrated this season they can rack up points against bad defenses, and Sunday shouldn't be an exception. I expect this one to come down to the wire where the Pats and the points become increasingly valuable.

Tony "Jigsaw" Cutillo (@TCutillo23):

Week 8 Stars....

Jimmy Garoppolo (SEA) --- This is not the same Seattle defense we are accustomed to seeing. Their secondary is playing poorly and their pass rush is nonexistent. Jimmy G should carve them up all day.

Lev Bell (KC) --- I am sure sweet revenge is on the mind of Lev and this week he will get it on his former team. This could be a weird game where KC goes up early and the ground game closes it out. Look for Lev to break out against a team that is barely relevant in the NFL.

AJ Green (TEN) --- The Cincy offense is moving full steam ahead and the Titans will have no luck stopping it. Green has amassed 24 targets in 2 weeks and is developing a nice rapport with Joe Burrow. Look for him to score and fill up the stat sheet once again.

Week 8 Stiffs....

Kirk Cousins (GB) --- The GB Packers give up the most yards on the ground, but have a tremendous pass rush up front. We all know Captain Kirk is soft and doesn't like to get hit. This game has Dalvin Cook written all over it.

David Montgomery (NO) --- DM has not been good at all in 2020. He is averaging a poultry 3.6 YPC and has only hit the 15+pt plateau 2x this season. The Chicago O'line is a mess and expectations have really soured on the young RB.

Tyreek Hill (NYJ) --- Hill has tremendous speed and is very talented. However, that doesn't always equate to Fantasy success. This week should be no different. Di you know know he has only 1 week so far with more than 5 catches in a game? He is TD or bust and this week looks like the latter.

Victor Williams (@ThePhillyPod): Rookie 7th-round Ben DiNucci will be making his first career start against the Eagles on Sunday. It goes without saying that Dallas will be relying heavily on the run game to try and survive against the Eagles defense. Opposing RBs are are only averaging 3.3 yards per carry against the Eagles this season. Look for the defensive line to get pressure and disrupt DiNucci early. The Eagles are 4th in the league in sacks with 24.

Jalen Reagor will be making his return after missing 5 games due to his thumb injury. His presence should open things up for Travis Fulgham and Greg Ward. Fulgham is currently second in the league in receiving since Week 4 with 362 yards. The Dallas defense has allowed the 4th most TD passes in the league this season. This should be the game where Wentz can for 300+ yards, hopefully without a turnover.
