NBA Playoff Prop Picks: Jrue Holiday, Desmond Bane, Same Game Parlays

The first games of the Milwaukee-Boston and Golden State-Memphis series gave us a glimpse into which props could hit on a consistent basis over the duration of each matchup.

The only drastic change in the Celtics-Bucks series could be the status of Marcus Smart, who is officially listed as questionable after suffering a shoulder injury in Game 1.

Smart can still play in Game 2, but be less effective on the offensive side of the ball, which is why I'm targeting two specific Celtics props to be part of a Same Game Parlay.

Jrue Holiday is the Bucks player that has my attention for Game 2 and beyond. He scored 25 points in Game 1 and he has a point prop under 20 points for Tuesday's clash in Boston.

The focus of the Warriors-Grizzlies Game 2 are players that need to bounce back from rough Game 1s. Klay Thompson and Desmond Bane struggled from deep on Sunday, but either of them could get hot and become the star of Game 2.

NBA Postseason Player Props

Overall Record: 23-29

Jrue Holiday Over 19.5 Points (-115)

Jrue Holiday finished Game 1 as the Bucks' top scorer with 25 points.

Holiday attempted 20 shots. He was one of three Bucks players to take more than 10 shots in Game 1. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis were the others.

Holiday essentially has to outperform Jaylen Brown to keep the balance of power in favor of the Bucks in the series.

The shot volume is there for Holiday to have over 20 points in every game of the series. He has at least 14 field-goal attempts in every game this postseason.

Holiday also got to the free-throw line on six occasions in Game 1. He made all of his foul shots. That could be a big help to get him to 20 points without much stress.

Bucks-Celtics Same Game Parlay (+400)

Jrue Holiday 20+ points

Jayson Tatum 6+ assists

Jaylen Brown 3+ Threes

These are my three favorite props on the board for Game 2 in Boston.

Holiday is the No. 2 scorer on the Bucks offense and he could receive even more looks on Tuesday if the Celtics commit more attention to slowing down Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Jayson Tatum to have six assists is the best parlay builder on the board. Tatum had six or more assists in four of his five games this postseason.

Tatum could have the ball in his hands more if Smart is dealing with the lingering affects of the shoulder injury he picked up in Game 1.

Jaylen Brown went 3-for-9 from three-point range in Game 1. Boston needs more out of its No. 2 scorer to combat what the Bucks throw at it with Antetokounmpo, Holiday and their supporting cast.

I expect Brown to try and get his shot going early in order for Boston to get the home crowd fired up and put pressure on the Bucks.

Desmond Bane Over 17.5 Points (-120)

This might be the lowest price we get Desmond Bane at for the entire series.

Bane took a backseat to Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. in Game 1. Memphis needs to him to get hot from three-point range to combat the Warriors' set of terrific shooters.

Bane closed the Wolves series with four straight 23+ point performances. If he produces that on Tuesday, Memphis should be in great shape to capture Game 2.

Warriors-Grizzlies Same Game Parlay (+320)

Klay Thompson 20+ points

Klay Thompson 4+ Threes

Desmond Bane 4+ Threes

Klay Thompson and Desmond Bane had below average Game 1s.

Thompson scored 15 points and shot 3-for-10 from three-point range, while Bane managed just nine points.

Thompson's shot volume is there and the Warriors need him to take a ton of shots if Gary Payton II and Draymond Green are going to be on the floor for defensive purposes to start and finish the game.

Bane needs to be flat out better for the Grizzlies, who need more balance across their starting lineup.

Ja Morant could score 30+ points again, but Jaren Jackson Jr. will experience regression after his 33-point performance.

Bane needs to attempt more than five three-pointers for the Grizzlies to have a chance of splitting games at home.

Bane knocked down three or more three-point shots in five of seven games this postseason. He rebounded from his other one-three outing by going 7-for-15 in Game 3 against Minnesota.
